Or they are not working on something that ends up in /dev/null with 0 
users but something that at least they can use. Once you start to take the 
real options into account, and the real effect of the choices, they start 
to make sense.

Note: you are contributing to that at the moment.

Do you have any reference on this? I mean a quote from the guys who 
actually developed C and added goto in the first place? Or is is just your 
guess?

Your contribution this week seems to be more wasted effort to me than my 
fork. If you think it over, this means what one find waste may be useful 
for others. I am sorry if you can't realize that and say everything is a 
waste that is not doing exactly what you want.
