The problem has 2 parts
1. People who do layout keep all kinds of information in their heads
that never makes it onto a schematic.
2. There are compromises that you can make in layout that are not
always obvious when you are making the schematic.

Yea I was one of those. I still think it is cool.

A lot of them also involved the puller which curved stuff.

I like that but I find it unlikely.
