Possibly you've used View>Realign_Grid to change the grid alignment?

I'm not sure if there's a more direct way to reset it back to default, but 
I've been able to reset it like this:

Set the Grid Size to No Grid
Select Realign Grid, then press Escape to cancel
Re-enable the grid
