I now found that the problem is not with PMCOM, but
somewhere in alarm() and signal().
When I make the calls to alarm() a comment, my program
runs and runs and runs! But when I try to stop it by
pressing CTRL-C, I get the same error as before (Not
being able to access 0xffffffff)...
Could it be there need to be some changes to the
alarm() and signal() calls, in order to get this bug
out of the program?
