By Andre LaMothe IIRC.

It doesn't cover interfacing with NetWare.

It doesn't cover voxels per se, but it does cover runlength
voxels, better known as height mapping.

The book says "minimum requirements: 386" which cannot
handle textures very fast, and it's mostly geared toward fitting
everything into 640K. Anyway, Allegro will do textures for
you. Just pass the coordinates of the points, and Allegro will
texture a triangle.

That was before every sound card emulated the Blaster.
In any case, "someone elses sound generating library"
for DJGPP is Allegro.
