Hi everyone.
I just installed djgpp and emacs in my Dell PC.
I'm pretty sure that I used the correct unzipping program.

I had 2 problems before that I solved but I don't understand why or how.

I had a lot of trouble with the compiler unable to find the iostream.h
(and streambuf.h). I also had trouble using emacs. When I call emacs
editor, it immediately quits and goes back to DOS prompt screen.

According to documentation, the line LFN=y in djgpp.env should be set for
everything to work properly. I set the LFN=y and neither the C++ compiler
nor emacs worked. When I set LNF=n, the compiler and emacs works fine.
The compiler can now find iostream.h and my emacs works wonders.

Can someone explain this?

Thanks in advance.
