>I was wondering what everyone use DJGPP for? A lot of people use
compilers
>like Borland C++, Etc.. Why do you use DJGPP?
I don't know other people but here are my reasons...
>Do you use it because it's easy to use.
Well... not so easy, but once you install it without problems it's the same
like Borland 5 (or at least, for me it looks the same)

>Do you use it to write games?
yeah, check my url donw at the end.

>Do you use it to help you learn C or C++?
In some way. Before I used BC5 and know I am learning a lot of useful
things I didn't before.

>Or do you just use it because its FREE???
Of course...

And some other reasons...

With Borland C5 you don't have 32 bits under ms-dos (without addons) and
that restricts a lot of things for programming games.
Only DJGPP supports Allegro, which in my opinion is THE BEST EVER GAMING
LIBRARY.
There's a lot of people who help each other in this newsgroup.
Some people say things under DJGPP are easily ported to other machines, but
I don't know about that .
