Hi,

Given info files on a topic, how do you modify the file 'dir' in

/djgpp/info to recognize them? Or is there another file I should change?

I got the 'elisp-ma.gz' file containing the gnu emacs lisp info files

last night. Then I made a posting asking how to untar it and got plenty

of answers. It unpacked easily with the command 'djtar -x elisp-ma.gz'.

Thanks for the help!

A bunch of files that were shot out looked like info files: 'elisp' and

'elisp-N' for N from 1 to 20 (or so). I copied them to '/djgpp/info'.

Now I can access them with 'info --file elisp'. Works great. But if I

just enter 'info' I can't get to them. Should I run makeinfo to fix it,

or is there a function in emacs for it, or something else?

Thanks again :)

"May the Schwartz be with you."
