It could be the FPU, but a more probable cause is the Display program 
itself.  I don't have it installed, but as far as I remember it does all 
kinds of custom tricks to make graphics work in a v1.x program under DPMI 
(usually, v1.x graphics bombs in DPMI environment).

Anyway, I didn't see any problems on Windows 95 with any v1.x program I 
tried (it was a Pentium machine, since I don't have access to a FPU-less 
system which runs Windows 95).
