I haven't found a particular file that causes it; I have noticed that it
occurs only when the line typed in exceeds the screen width (~80 chars)
and a carriage return is pressed. The cursor jumps to the next line,
as intended, but a portion of the line above is reproduced, like this:
just a very long meaningless boring useless test sentence <CR>
boring useless test sentence
and text input freezes. Curiously enough, saving and reloading the file
does not show the second sentence, so it looks like a screen output artifact.
Alas, the problem is not reproducible at request; but when it occurs
stopping Rhide and restarting is usually enough to "cure" it.
The loaded file is never damaged.
It could be the keyboard handler; could be QEMM; I don't know.
I'll try fiddling with my system 'till it goes away.
Thanks.
