Pallete? Spelt Palette, I thought, BTW! Anyway, there's no palette in
65k modes. A 65k colour is split up like thus:

Bits 0..4: Blue
Bits 5..10: Green
Bits 11.15: Red

Or perhaps in the other order. Each field is a linear proportion of
visible primary (in fact with a gamma of around 0.45, but who's
counting :-)
