It's true. If you don't believe it, download Quake (I would recommend this
anyway :) and use a binary editor to look at the first few dozen bytes in
ASCII mode. You'll see a copyright sign referring to stub.exe and djasm. If
you do the same to any of your DJGPP files, you'll see exactly the same
header. Look then at any Watcom executable (DOOM, Dark Forces, Duke Nukem 3D,
etc) and you'll see something completely different. Therefore we have two
options:

(1) Watcom have ditched DOS4GW in favour of Charles's/DJ's DPMI loader stub
(2) The Quake demo was written using DJGPP v2.

I think (1) is even less plausible than (2) :)
