You can check out my Sound-Blaster library, but it is for v2. For
information on what it does and where you can get it, check out my web
page at http://www.geopages.com/SiliconValley/1184/.

Interrupt handling in v1 is a little unstable -- you'll probably
want to go to v2 (even though it's in beta) if you plan to mess with
interrupts extensively.
Again, source code for the sound-blaster library can provide you
with examples on how to do it in v2.

Good luck and I hope that helps.
