If you do this, the ".vimrc gets read as a binary file" problem
won't be solved until cygwin 1.1.3 is released, though, right?

Maybe we should just hold off as you have previously suggested.

I was just responding to the part of your email that indicated
that you were having problems with the newest libcygwin.a and
older DLLs.  I didn't mean to imply that we should release an
executable now.

I really don't have much of an opinion on that one way or the other.
