M32C: CNVss vs nHOLD

 

The top half of this schematic is the original circuit. nHOLD is tied low as the programming monitor requires it that way.


The bottom half is my modified circuit. nHOLD and nRDY are tied high (as required by memory expansion mode), unless you jumper CNVss for programming, in which case the transistor pulls them low.
