Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-linux-gnu/pgcc-2.95.2/specs
gcc version pgcc-2.95.2 19991024 (release)

Pentium Intel 200Mhz without MMX support

Compiling with -O3 -mcpu=i586 -march=i586 where the options used.

I originally had GCC 2.95.2 before and I wanted to see if I could use PGCC
2.95. so i patched GCC and ran

configure --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/g++ --enable-shared
--prefix=/usr --enable-languages=c,c++; make bootstrap-lean

xgcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11
make[2]: *** [cccp.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/spstarr/gcc-2.95.2/gcc'
make[1]: *** [bootstrap-lean] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/spstarr/gcc-2.95.2/gcc'
make: *** [bootstrap-lean] Error 2

Is this known, It *WILL* build with -O2 but not > -O3

Please respond.

This error is repeated each time so its not my hardware.
