    hello,

    did anyone try to implement simd on non-mmx machines ? using a single 32
bit register with
integers < 32768 (15 bits) ... a 16 bit integer on high and low parts. for
add/sub only.

did not have time to try and implement but maybe should worth
where fp is used and the emms causes too much noise for a small loop ... sth
stupid or
what ... i ll probably try this weekend .
