You need to use the configure script, which requires a capable bourne-like
shell (e.g. from cygnwin32). The environment variable CC should point to the
compiler binary.

Make sure that you have no spaces in the path to your compiler (or
alternatively use a make that can cope with them (there is no such
thing)))

I think it would be much easier to build egcs with cygwin32 rather than with
vc.
