It would be totally awsome if 3D Now! was just as a switch as anything
else. In windoze those instructions give me 20 more frames per second in
Quake2 optimized for 3d Now! For Voodoo 2 card, I would imagine Quake 2
and the like would outrun windoze performance under Linux on the same
hardware. But again that version of Quake 2 was rewritten, not optimized
by a compiler. But still it would be awsome if pgcc had such optimization.
