Hi,
I recently upgraded toslackwar 3.5 from Slackware 3.4, adn it includes
egcs (2.9x). Now when I compile my 2.0.35 kernel it gives me all kinds
of errors the main 2 are __constant_memcpy and
__constatn_c_XXXXXXXXXXXXX (I cannot remember that one)
How ever when I start to compile the 2.1.x kernel it seems to be fine.
Is this a compatablility issue? Will it be fixed, or do I have to start
using 2.1.x all the time? What can I do?
The kenelr 2.0.35 does complete its compilation and is usaable ( I am
using it now), but the error is in linux/include/string.h file. I have
libc5.4.44.. a pretty standard slackware 3.5 distro.. any help????
