Well, I just wondered why everything below PGCC 1.1 worked fine and compiled
the Kernel without any problems... :)

Ok, I'm going to install the old gcc later as a second compiler. :-)

Do you know how safe it has already become to use one of the 2.1.x kernels?
Is there already a release date for the 2.2 (the last was October, AFAIK)?

 Last question. :)
I'm considering downloading the source for XFree86, but is there a chance
at all, that it will compile with PGCC 1.1?

Thanks 4 your time and patience. C'ya...
