Hello all,
I recently tried re-compiling libm.a (which I was able to originally), but now
when I try to recompile I get the following output when pgcc gets to the file
s_frexp.c:

c:/tmp\ccaaaaaa.s
   assembler messages
    unknown pseudo-op : '.p2align'

there are a few more lines, but they contain the exact output as above.

version of pgcc:

pgcc-2.90.23 980102 (egcs 1.0.1 release)

I re-installed everything thinking I simply had a corrupted file somewhere,
but after reinstallation the same problem occured.
I tried generating a .i file (gcc -E s_frexp.c), but couldn't find the output
anywhere, so either it's not being generated, or it's there I just don't
see it. Since I was originally able to regenerate this libs with no
problems, that
means something changed somewhere, if anyone knows what's going on, please
send response to 'jbailey AT rbdc DOT rbdc DOT com'.
                       thanks!
                        Jonathan Bailey
