hi!

i have troubles with the pgcc-compiled version of as. if i compile the
linux kernel or something else as throws out a lotta "bad register
(%edx)" - does anyone has the same problem? - as was compiled without any
optimizations .. 
oh - pgcc just finished "as" with -O2 -mpentium (without -g).. until know
it seems that there is no problem with compiling the linux kernel..
strange.. does someone know what could be wrong - i'm not very satisfied
with this sollution, that it just works with the optimization..

btw: i used binutils-2.8.1.0.15 (all attempts)
Reading specs from  
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-linux-gnulibc1/pgcc-2.90.21/specs gcc version  
pgcc-2.90.21 971202 (egcs-1.00 release)
