pcb-rnd (and pcb mainline) has a poly lib that does not support arc in 
polygon contour - anything that you see as round in a polygon is just 
line approximation with a finite number of straight line segments. Draw 
a rectangle, put a via in the middle, zoom in: you will see the lines.

The shape generator generates polygons. Because these shapes will often 
end up in padstacks, they should deal with corners sparingly. I've set up 
the approximation to depend on size. I did small objects in the example, 
at high zoom level, so the approximation is more visible. It was 
intentional, to show the viewer that round corner is really an 
approximation.
