Subject: [geda-user] [pcb-rnd] LT-Spice and TinyCad netlist import now supported by pcb-rnd
To: geda-user <geda-user AT delorie DOT com>
Reply-To: geda-user AT delorie DOT com

import modules have been completed for pcb-rnd that allow

1) netlists to be imported very easily and naturally from the FOSS
windows schematic editor TinyCad (which also runs nicely under wine,
it seems), using its own TinyCad netlist export format. TinyCad is
very gschem-like.

and

2) LT-Spice, but a bit more work is required of the user to specify
footprint attributes.

If there is interest in additional schematic layout editors,
additional modules can be developed to handle their netlists.

Cheers,

Erich
