Nothing automatic, you have to create a slots layer and draw the shape.
Your fab house will probably cope if you send them a note of the Layer
usage.

Means you end up more in the territory of pasted layout fragment, not a
true footprint.

In the footprint (might as well use one to create the pads for the netlist,
silk etc...), create an identically named pad top and bottom of the board.

I've done this before with just a complicated outline layer. The fab I
often use will figure out if a slot is supposed to be played or not
depending on whether it cuts into copper.

(I got the impression they don't like routing across copper for some
reason, perhaps it gums up the cutter or creates burrs.
