HI to all,

I've used import schematics option in fresh empty PCB to import netlist
and elements.
I've never felt the need to go roundabout way of exporting netlist and
then imprting it in PCB and this way looks fine,
except that I cant find a way for PCB to place initial elements on the
given place, at least roughly.

Nice option would be if I could draw something, say a line on layer that
I have named "board" or "new elements here" or somesuch.

Now, If i decide that I need to change some footprint or that I need
some new elements, I add/change them in schematics, save it and then
reimport that new schematics into PCB. But PCB hen spits all new
elements right into the middle of my board, where it can be hard to
see/find/select them
in the pile of all those already placed elements, tracks, polygons and
whatnot and since I usually have option "rubberband" on, moving them
causes havoc on the board.

Since somesuch way/workaround might well exist, so I thought of asking
here...

Best regards and keep the good work...

Branko
