I heard the same thing about Unix in the 1980=92s. A dinosaur, soon to =
be replaced.
A clean ground-up redesign of gschem, using the same file format, but =
with a modern UI, would be welcome. Encumbering the old, quirky, but =
productive UI with new =93features=94 is not.
