If neither Cntrl-R nor Edit->Edit attributes of->Element tells you
then pcb doesn't know.  I don't think it's guaranteed to know -- once
an elements is embedded it could probably be changed such that the
file name isn't around.  In any case it definitely embeds the symbol
rather than linking to it, so the file might go away.  For me
Descriptive Name under Cntrol-R has the footprint file name but I
don't recall at present if that's some consequence of my particular
setup or the norm.
