Subject: [geda-user] some menu entries have weird/bad names, what to do
From: "Britton Kerin (britton DOT kerin AT gmail DOT com) [via geda-user AT delorie DOT com]" <geda-user AT delorie DOT com>

For example Edit->Edit name of->text on layout doesn't really do that,
it edits the name of the pin/pad if a pin/pad is hovered (or clicked),
or of the element refdes if an element is hovered outside the
pins/pads. These names generally aren't shown. A tooltip might help
but changing the menu entry name would be better.

I'd change in to Edit->Edit name of->current object or something, any objection?

I know there are some other menu entries that could stand a rename,
I'll just post about them as I hit them I guess.

Britton
