I note that I have a gnet-tsv = (12 lines of Scheme) that outputs a format that pins2gsch (28 lines of = AWK) can read, so I *could* generate a gschem-readable schematic page = representing every connection in a design (but with no graphics). The design of geda-gaf makes these little tools easy to write. When you = put two or three of them together you can do all kinds of useful = automation. I think that=92s because the concept of forward annotation to an = as-built schematic was not on the table when it was implemented. The = developers thought that users would need to see pin numbers in the = source schematics.
