Because nobody has written the scripts. I note that I have a gnet-tsv =
(12 lines of Scheme) that outputs a format that pins2gsch (28 lines of =
AWK) can read, so I *could* generate a gschem-readable schematic page =
representing every connection in a design (but with no graphics).

The design of geda-gaf makes these little tools easy to write. When you =
put two or three of them together you can do all kinds of useful =
automation.

I should put gnet-tsv on gedasymbols.

doesn't leave it for the netlister?

I think that=92s because the concept of forward annotation to an =
as-built schematic was not on the table when it was implemented. The =
developers thought that users would need to see pin numbers in the =
source schematics. I suppose there are many who will still want this =
even after we construct a good way to make as-built schematics.
