Exactly. Not having to burn time on GTK version bumps that add nothing
but a higher rev number is a good thing. As long as SDL is maintained
in the long run and delivers all the needed functionality it makes
sense. It lets us concentrate on what matters.

If it adds no functionality why not just rerelease it with a higher
