Now on gentoo this is a non-issue but binary distros will have issues.
Personally I like gpmi and for gentoo it is gold. I am just saying for
wider distribution it needs to be optional.

To be fair most desktops need to have basically every language
interpreter anyway. I don't like that but I accept it and I think most
people do.
