I beg your pardon but I remember when Igor2 tried and the mainline
people drove him off.

We should be thankful for that. Igor2 tagged all of the stuff in his
SVN repo to make moving back annotation in gschem over to the mainline
more simplistic. I would call that participation. He is here trying to
be constructive. I also have yet to see him pick a fight. The same can
not be said for other parties.
