I don't know about practical, but it would be very desirable.  The
action interface is very minimal and quickly started showing its
limits.

I suspect if you plot a language's efficiency against its
understandability you'll get a bell curve - too much verbiage and
there's too much to juggle in your head, but too compact and there
isn't enough there to see the "flow" of processing.  It's like in high
school - "show all work" :-)
