Has this thing the two of you do ever actually advanced the project?

The issue is users have trouble with the fact that the console is
console/Makefile driven. I proposed earlier to have a program that
lets you define workflows in gschem and then produce a Makefile just
like we design schematics in gschem and then make netlists via gschem.
Does anyone else have an idea?

Bigger question for the whole of gEDA. Igor2 posted a really nice demo
of gschem handling back annotation (really notation) and none of you
said squat on the list. For a feature you were all clambering for the
interest in it has been mostly hypothetical. Why are we all so
interested in gtk versions when that could really use some feedback?
