  ...but please don't abuse the JPG format by pressing it into service
for something other than natural-scene, continuous-tone images.  There
are far more suitable compression algorithms for line art.  The very
real advantage is the lack of artifacting that is so visibly annoying
when people do things like post schematics as JPG files.
