Unfortunately, I have mixed feelings about a SQL based solution. It is 
just so easy mess up the data model. In my experience, the more a data 
base evolves the more everything tends to relate to everything else. 
And the more relations, the more complex handling becomes. Think 
communication with other users, upgrades, downgrades,...
