And what you didn't write is that admins on that list have full
control over everything gEDA.  That kind of trust is not given
lightly.  If you ask for admin and we say no, that just means you
should keep demonstrating that you're trustworthy until we change our
mind.  And "submitting good patches" is not an admin's job, so using
that as a criteria for trust is inappropriate.
