Hi,

looking for previous work on VHDL in gschem and gnetlist I happened to find
this link:
http://www.iti.uni-stuttgart.de/studies/ss06/hapra/gschem_howto/index.html

It describes two interesting features:
gnetlist -g symcreate
Naming nets something_31_downto_0 to get std_logic_vectors.

I cannot immediately find any traces of such features in the current code
base for geda-gaf, but maybe it disappeared years ago.
