I wasn't talking about the technical innards of the tools.  I was
talking about how we present those tools to the users, how we run our
community, about addressing the age-old problems that plague new
users, etc.  Turning a heaping pile of disjoint functionality into
something useful and easy to learn so that we're able to attract new
users.

If a particular problem can only be solved by changing some innards,
then so be it, but the innards change is just a side-effect.
