You should not call it gnetlist in any case. The user should choose which tool to use. You’ll never implement options like  -l or -m, so you’ll always be profoundly incompatible with gnetlist. And that’s fine: look to the future, not the past.

For configuration, perhaps you should use the new .ini file approach in 1.9, rather than the deprecated Scheme init files.
