Just like I said: The standard library should be produced 
algorithmically rather than manually.

Algorithmic footprint creation on the fly moves footprint creation out 
of the immediate realm of the user. This makes it even less 
accessible.

Common headers should be in the library by default. There is no need 
to create them on the fly.

I fear, they already consider running when they see the projects web 
site. Go to http://www.kicad-pcb.org and notice what you see. Now go 
to geda-project.org ... spot the difference.
