I don’t want to fix it. I just want it kept separate from geda-gaf. One should not design a space age transportation system around the needs of oxcarts.

You mean like https://github.com/noqsi/gnet-spice-noqsi? Or the other two gnetlist back ends I posted to the list yesterday? Or the stuff on my gedasymbols page? I also have improved Allegro and PADS back ends that I hope to get around to publishing soon.
