It can be an expression, function call, nested structure, etc. all of which will be evaluated when the file is loaded. You could also seed the environment with standard constants or variables to allow parametric operation.

There will be problems serialising that back to disk though, so it would be better to support those features for templates, library shapes, etc. but not for the schematics themselves.
