Fair enough.

However, his reasoning does not apply to users who do their own cam 
processing in the kitchen sink -- i.e. etch their PCBs at home. 

That said, I'd love to define this kind of oblate pins in pcb in a 
proper way. But it is not possible due to format restrictions.
