Hi Stephen and all,

I agree: FOSS EDA needs a bigger room and more fresh air :)

On arriving around 12.00 h there was a sign on the door stating "FULL"
and not to enter due to safety reasons (in itself a very good
precaution), though this failed after the ongoing talk and people were
let in anyway, as not to miss out on the opportunity.

Time in between talks was often filled with Q&A and discussions, and
because of turmoil from people leaving and entering I found little
chance to start a conversation with fellow devs.

All in all a good opportunity to hear what gEDA and other developers is
driving, and what difficulties they have to overcome.

What I found striking was the courage of Peter Stuge to plant the "seed"
of edacore, and in doing so starting to build a bridge between various
FOSS EDA dev-teams and trying to including commercial vendors (of parts)
too, and thus trying to make realize efforts that could help everyone
involved.

By this way I would like to thank Javier Serrano for organizing this
room and being a perfect host and master of ceremonies.

Kind regards,

Bert Timmerman.
