Another approach is to use 'IDF' - without making changes to PCB,
it should be possible to at least export the board as an IDF file
with correct dimensions. This can even be done as a stand-alone
tool if you don't mind writing a PCB parser. KiCad has IDF code
which you can take and use so at least you don't have to rewrite
the framework; there is also a tool to convert IDF to VRML if you
want a VRML output for visualization.
