gerbv is building with mxe for me with following configure call:

PKG_CONFIG=/path/to/mxe.git/usr/bin/i686-pc-mingw32-pkg-config
./configure --host=i686-pc-mingw32

It is also seems to work in wine and win.
If all good, the question is: can I put this ~42MiB static gerbv.exe
on SF wrapped in installer.
Or absolutely not?
