Thanks for keeping us posted.  That's a long term goal I have also.  That goal fits with
"able to use pcb with eeschema", and "able to use gschem with pcbnew" and any other tools such as icarus verilog
plugged into a schematic module so it shows in a n editor when you push down to that level, and true hierarchy
handled by gschem view and gnetlist -- as verilog-ams netlist.

I used to do chip design and chip layout and the set up of pcb and gschem is possible to
customize for that kind of work partly, and that's one reason I like it.  PCB is best used with
non-dominant hand on keyboard for function key commands, and dominant hand on the 3 button mouse, just like a Cadence app.

Some of the documentation is not quite complete, but the responses here on this list,
and the irc channel can be so quick as to not care.
